BLACK BABYLOSS AWARENESS

A research-led documentary film that centres the voices of Black women who have experienced baby loss. Through a series of individual interviews, we created space for each woman to speak openly and on her own terms; about the loss, the silence, and what it means to grieve in a system that too often looks past you.

Our methodology was rooted in qualitative research and ethnographic listening, treating each woman's lived experience as evidence, not anecdote.

The film aims to shift that silence and open dialogue within healthcare, policy and the wider public. And to ensure that Black women's experiences of baby loss are no longer treated as peripheral but firmly at the centre of the conversation.
